Big, Bold, Buttery Brushwork on Square Canvas

This is the night we hand you a palette knife and let you go big. You'll build up thick, buttery layers of acrylic on a square canvas, catching the light in a way flat paint never does. Up close it looks almost three-dimensional.

Sunflowers are a favourite, though florals, abstracts and coastal scenes all work beautifully with this technique. The finished piece looks gallery-ready. It's the sort of artwork people assume you bought.

Sculpted Clay That Doubles as Wall Art

Tonight we get our hands into proper pottery clay and make a hanging tile for your wall. You'll shape, texture and personalise every part of it, whether that's a coral reef, a scatter of barnacles or something straight out of your imagination. We'll fire it for you afterwards.

Then you'll paint and glaze it to finish (a small extra cost applies for the final firing). The result is handmade wall art with real depth, the kind of piece people lean in close to look at properly.

Draw With Heat, Not Ink

You'll start with the basics: how to hold the tool, how to control the temperature, and how to take a line from the lightest scorch to a deep dark burn. Then you'll work on a piece of your own, whether that's a botanical, a bird, some lettering or a simple repeating pattern. The smell of warm wood alone is worth the trip.

This one is for adults only, since we're working with a genuinely hot tool. You don't need any drawing experience, and we'll help you plan your design before you switch anything on. You'll go home with a finished piece to hang, gift or stand on a shelf.

Turn Something Plain Into a One-Off

Bring along something you'd actually wear: a denim jacket, a tote bag, an old pair of jeans, a plain white tee. We'll set you up with fabric paints and help you turn it into a piece nobody else in the world owns. Big bold mandalas, hand lettering, florals, whatever suits you.

You don't need to be able to draw. We'll help you plan the whole design before a single drop of paint goes on, and you'll walk out wearing your own artwork.

Tilt the Canvas and Watch the Magic Happen

Spend a couple of hours pouring, tilting and playing with colour while your canvas turns into something you'll want to hang up the moment it dries. Every pour behaves a little differently, so the surprise is half the fun. Cells, ribbons and soft blooms of colour appear as the paint settles.

Bring a friend along and make a pair of them. You don't need any experience at all, just a willingness to get slightly messy. We'll have everything set up and ready to go.
