Perfect for aspiring artists and seasoned sketchers alike, this will teach you to combine the strength of ink lines with the subtlety of watercolour washes to bring your cityscapes and everyday scenes to life. You will:

Master a Versatile Technique: Learn everything from understanding your materials (pens, inks, watercolours) to creating expressive line work and applying beautiful, atmospheric washes.
Build Skills Progressively: Each week introduces new challenges and subjects. You'll start with simple objects, master contour and gesture drawing, explore tone and texture with your pen, and progress to captivating still lifes, architectural elements with simple perspective, lush nature studies, and dynamic animals.
Unlock Your Inner Urban Sketcher: Develop confidence in capturing street scenes, architectural details, and the vibrant energy of urban life. Learn to tell stories and create atmosphere in your sketches.
Cultivate Your Unique Style: While building foundational skills, you'll be encouraged to loosen up, experiment with combining media, and develop your personal artistic voice.
