Please note: You must provide 48 hours’ notice if you cannot attend a class to receive a credit for another class. Missed term classes will only be credited with Beverley’s personal agreement. All credits need to be used up in the term they were booked for. Thank you.

Week 5
Hydrangea Hues
Soft, dreamy, and delicate. We’ll channel our inner Impressionist to paint this beautiful bouquet of hydrangeas. The big lesson this week is "transparency"—learning the secret to making a painted glass vase actually look like clear glass!
Week 6
The "Cat-astrophe"!
Get ready to laugh! This week is all about expression and energy. We’re painting a hilarious, wide-eyed black cat against a vibrant, splattered background.
It’s a chance to loosen up, be bold, and inject some serious personality into your art.
Week 7
Abstract Melodies
Paint the music! We’re taking a classic acoustic guitar and giving it a colourful, abstract twist. You’ll focus on flowing lines, vibrant blending, and composition to create a piece that feels like a visual song. It’s like music for the eyes!
Week 8
The King of the Bush
Capture the character of Australia’s favourite laughter! This week, we’ll paint a classic Kookaburra. We’ll focus on layering paints to create realistic feather textures and capturing that cheeky glint in the eye that brings the bird to life.
Week 9
Midnight Feathers
Dramatic and striking. We’ll explore how to paint dark subjects without just using black.
You'll use deep blues, turquoises, and golds to create the shimmering plumage of this magnificent bird, making the feathers pop against the background.
Week 10
The Emu’s Stare
We finish the term with a bang—and a very serious stare! This colourful, quirky Emu is all about loose, expressive brushstrokes.
We’ll use a riot of colours to capture the messy feathers and intense personality of this Aussie icon. A fun and fantastic way to end the term!

Week 10: Golden Sunset Flight
What a way to finish the term! Our final masterpiece will be this breathtaking “Golden Sunset Flight.”
This is your chance to go bold with colour and create dramatic contrasts. We’ll learn to blend vibrant reds and oranges for a radiant sunset sky, then add dynamic silhouettes of birds in flight and graceful blades of grass, creating a powerful and peaceful scene that perfectly celebrates your artistic journey.
