A one-of-a-kind portrait of Dad, painted with love.
We had such a good time last year.
Last year's Father's Day class was one of our favourite afternoons of the year. There was paint everywhere, a lot of giggling, and some very proud dads walking out with portraits tucked under their arms.
We loved it so much we're doing the whole thing again on Sunday 6 September. We'd love you to be part of it this time.
This one's built for the kids, and it makes the ultimate Father's Day gift. They'll paint a bright, cheerful portrait of their favourite bloke, surrounded by fun and colour. Dad will treasure it forever, wonky smile and all.
Teens and adults are very welcome to paint one too, so nobody has to sit and watch. It's a giggly, cheerful session where every single portrait turns out perfect. No experience needed, just bring plenty of love for Dad.
What the afternoon looks like.
Everything is supplied, so all you have to do is turn up. Beverley talks you through it step by step, and there's no drawing test at the door and no wrong way to do it.
The kids go big and bold, the grown ups take a bit more convincing, and everyone ends up laughing at somebody's eyebrows. Ninety minutes later you'll each have a portrait Dad will never throw out.
Sunday 6 September, 2pm till 3.30pm, $30 per person. Bring the kids, bring Dad, and let's make him something he'll actually keep.
