Creativity Beyond the Studio Walls
Trade the studio walls for blue skies, salty air, and the sound of the ocean. Out and About is our brilliant new monthly painting adventure. It’s a chance to set up your easel at some of the Central Coast’s most jaw-droppingly beautiful spots and capture them on canvas.

Our Next Adventure — Budgewoi Footbridge
A Class by the Meeting of the Waters…
Where Budgewoi Creek winds out to meet Lake Munmorah, the footbridge reaches low across the water toward Dunkey Island. Picture the calm lake shining in the morning light, pelicans gliding past and black swans drifting beneath the bridge, with a wide open sky stretching above you. It’s a gentle, peaceful scene, and it practically paints itself.
Imagine yourself settled comfortably with a brush in hand, a soft breeze off the lake and that long bridge reaching out before you. We’ll guide you through every brushstroke, capturing the bridge, the shimmering reflections and the birdlife together. Even if you’ve never painted a landscape before, you’ll be amazed at what you walk away with.
We’ll meet at the water's edge next to the bridge entrance around 1:45 pm to get set up before we kick off at 2 pm.
Quick Note
Bring a camp chair if you’ve got one (or grab one of ours). And bring a drink, a snack, some sunblock, and your sense of adventure.
All your art materials are provided, and your finished painting will be framed and ready to hang on your wall the moment you walk back through your front door. Just bring yourself, and a bit of enthusiasm.
