This term we're painting with texture, so the paint stands up off the canvas and catches the light. You'll work with palette knives and thick acrylic across ten very different subjects: an owl, a shoreline, daisies, a sailboat, cherry blossom, a sunflower, an otter, a koala, dune grass and a lighthouse. Every one of them ends up with a surface you want to run your hand over.

Step into the calm, graceful world of Chinese brush painting. Over ten weeks you will learn to hold the brush the traditional way, load it with ink, and make marks that are confident, flowing and full of life. It is a slower, quieter kind of painting, and enormously satisfying.

Pen first, paint second, and a little bit of magic in between. Line and Wash is ten weeks of loose ink drawing brought to life with soft, watery colour, and it is easily the most forgiving way to paint.

Slow down, breathe out, and let your hands do the thinking. Meditative Art is ten weeks of gentle, unhurried making, where the process matters far more than the finished piece.

Ten weeks of watercolour, and every single one of them teaches you something new. You'll paint loose creatures, moonlit seas, snowy hills, a swan, a puffin and a pair of very determined geese. Along the way you'll pick up salt textures, negative painting, blending, and the fine art of knowing when to stop.

Creative Kids is one hour a week of proper, joyful mess. Over ten weeks your child will paint, draw, sculpt and decorate their way through a new project every single class. Nobody gets bored, and everybody takes something home.

Ten weeks of drawing fun, where the only rule is to have a go. Your child will play drawing games, build animals out of simple shapes, invent dragons nobody has ever seen, and fill pages with sea creatures, rockets, creepy crawlies and robots.
